Elite Sports Betting Tips – June 17

England vs Scotland – Anytime Goalscorer – Harry Kane @ 1.80

Caelum

The Three Lions got their campaign off to the best of starts with a strong 1-0 win over Croatia on the weekend. Gareth Southgate may have ditched the waistcoat, but it felt like 2018 all over again as England took care of business. Goalscorer Raheem Sterling was also in need of a boost, so he’ll be full of confidence heading into this match, something which would pose problems for any opposition. On the flip side, Scotland’s tournament began with a disappointing 2-0 loss to the Czech Republic in Glasgow. Despite having more chances, Steve Clarke’s side were unable to make their chances and Patrik Schick’s goal of the tournament contender was symbolic of how the match played out. After coming into the tournament with a lot of promise, they’ll want to make sure they don’t underdeliver. Next door neighbours in England is a great place to start. Despite what the markets tell you, we feel this game will be a lot closer than expected as the Scots will want to atone for their Hampden Park disappointment. In spite of what the result may be, we expect the reigning World Cup Golden Boot winner to find the net at some point. Harry Kane is deadly enough in front of goal to warrant backing this price, let alone the fact that he is one of the best penalty takers in the world alongside Jorginho from Italy. Don’t hesitate with this one. 1 unit.

Dota 2 ESL One Summer – Team Secret vs Team Nigma – Correct Score (in Maps) 0:2 @ 3.20

David

I’d like to believe Team Nigma was on the unfortunate end of a technical issue which caused the 2nd map to be restarted. Might be too early to say at that point but Team Nigma really looked like they’re bound to take the 2nd map and come out with a 2-0 win. On the restarted 2nd map with the same draft and starting items, Team Secret was already aware what Team Nigma’s strategy was and so was able to react accordingly, turning it into a stomp hence ending the best of 2 series into a draw. With ILTW’s signing and Miracle’s return to mid, Team Nigma is finding their stride and has been able to put up decent results against their EU competitors. The last meeting was supposed to be theirs for the taking but the server gods didn’t allow them to. Hopefully this rematch doesn’t encounter any technical hiccups and see Team Nigma take 2 maps cleanly. 1 unit.

Denmark vs Belgium – 1×2 – Belgium @ 2.01

Jarrod

It is perfectly understandable to expect Denmark to struggle with focus given the events of the last few days. Belgium, while also affected with the rest of the footballing world, showed in their opening game of the tournament that they are indeed one of the favourites. We’ll be taking them to win here. 2.5 units.

The US Open — Top 20 Finish – Will Zalatoris @ 2.45

CBod

Zalatoris’ worst finish in the last three majors he’s played in was a tie for eighth a month ago at the PGA Championship. He was also a runner-up in his debut at the Masters when he chased Hideki Matsuyama home at Augusta. The Cali native will be relishing this return to the west coast and he was a very good seventh at Torrey Pines in the Farmers Insurance back in January. The Greens are a factor at Torrey Pines as they’re not to everyone’s liking, but Zalatoris has stated “I love poa annua greens. I’m sure I’m in the minority, but I grew up on it, and the earlier you play it the better” — a big tick. Maybe the concern that he remains without a win on the PGA Tour as yet are valid for the outright, but he has the game to certainly compete, making this Top 20 price look very attractive. 1 unit.

UFC Fight Night – The Korean Zombie vs. Ige – Winner – Chan Sung Jung @ 2.01

PontiacBandit

Coming off a tough decision loss to soon-to-be Title Challenger Brian Ortega, KZ is a very slight underdog. Dan Ige has only really beaten a washed up Edson Barboza, and notably lost convincingly to Calvin Kattar a year ago. KZ has only been back in the game for a few years after taking three years off to serve his mandatory military service in South Korea, which demonstrates his discipline and toughness. His nickname derives from his tendency to keep pushing forward and attacking, shrugging off his opponent’s strikes. Ige comes in ranked 8th to KZ’s 4th, having won his last fight by knockout only 22 seconds into Round 1. While impressive, more time in the ring might have put him in a better position to compete against KZ. Ige might be a capable well-rounded fighter, but he will be no match for the experience and fierce nature of the Korean Zombie. 2 Units

Community Tip

This week’s community tip comes from Badly who has chosen the following.

Ukraine vs North Macedonia – 1×2 – Ukraine @ 1.72

Ukraine had been unbeaten in six previous outings this year, starting with a 1-1 draw versus France and ending with a 4-0 warm-up win over Cyprus. Their last game against Netherlands might have ended up in a loss but after putting up 2 goals against such massive strong team Ukraine almost brought Netherlands to its knees. This is enough reason to prove Ukraine have the upper hand against North Macedonia. Meanwhile North Macedonia are the Lowest ranked team at the Euro 2020. Goran Pandev did put a goal against Austria in their Last Match but that is not enough to outshine the Ukraine’s performance in their last Game against Netherlands.
