UFC Fight Night Tips and Predictions – June 20

Hello, fight fans we are back to Las Vegas with another fun fight night card this weekend. We have got some entertaining fighters such as Khaos Williams, Marlon Vera, and Korean Zombie fighting on this card who always give the fans a good show. There are some intriguing matchups on this card where tough contenders will fight to determine who deserves a higher seat on the rankings. This card is being headlined by a banger and we can’t wait for these fights to play out, as always Let’s dive right in!

Marlon Vera Vs Davey Grant

Fight fans take note, another one of Stake’s brand ambassadors is in action this weekend taking on an exciting young contender. Marlon enters this fight with a number next to his name and the intention to avenge a loss he had in his early days. Davey Grant who beat Chito back in 2016 had a rocky pathway but has found his way back through a 3-fight win streak. This bout takes place in the bantamweight division and will get us a definite contender who is ready for the step-up in competition with the elites.

Marlon “Chito” Vera is one of the most exciting contenders on the UFC bantamweight roster. Proudly representing the Ecuadorian flag on his back since 2014 in the UFC, Chito has had an interesting career full of highlight reels. Chito brings a strong 81% finish rate to the Octagon including 6 knockouts and 7 submissions.

He is as well-rounded as they come holding a black belt in BJJ and showcasing a strong striking display each time he enters the UFC Octagon. In his last 2 fights, Chito knocked out UFC’s best young talent Sean O’Malley and lost a close decision to the King of Rio, Jose Aldo. Chito has proven that he can hang with the best and he will look to bounce back in grand fashion this weekend.

Hype is a transferable attribute, Chito took all of Sean O’Malley’s hype when he knocked him out and our new contender Davey Grant will look to ride the hype train by putting an end to the Chito show this weekend. Fight fans would be intrigued to know that this is a rematch between the two fighters as Davey beat a young Chito by decision back in 2016.

Davey is primarily a striker with knockout power and a reliable submission game to lean on. He will look to implement his well-rounded acumen into a similar pressure-heavy game plan which helped him beat Chito the first time.

Rematches are often favorable for the winner of the first bout but in this case, Chito has evolved to become a much superior fighter since their last encounter. Facing top contenders in his last couple of bouts, Chito has shown that he has the metal to become a champion one day. Contrarily Davey has a tough journey to earn this ranked bout, but he eventually got here by getting together a win streak of his own.

Both these fighters are well rounded wherever this fight goes but Chito will have the edge in grappling, whereas Davey will look to the edge with his heavy hands on the feet. We think Chito is the superior fighter here and he will fight an intelligent fight to get over the line this weekend. We are confident in our guy and are offering double winnings on Chito to win this weekend, so make sure to get around this crazy promotion. https://promotions.stake.com/marlon-vera-winnings/

Chan Sung Jung Vs Dan Ige

We’ve got ourselves an explosive and violent main event on our hands, fights are always action-packed when we have two well-rounded brawlers involved. The war will make way for the next top 5 contenders to fight for a title-eliminating bout. In this main event, we will witness rank 4 “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung taking on rank 8 Dan “50K” Ige.

The Korean Zombie has been an absolute entertainer for fight fans having won 6 performance bonuses and 1 fight of the night in his 9 fight UFC career. Korean Zombie has fought with the best talents of the UFC such as Dustin Poirier, Jose Aldo, and Frankie Edgar, etc, and often comes out on top. He has had a perfect 100% finish rate in the UFC as he does not believe in leaving his fate in the judge’s hands.

He boats a well-rounded MMA game through his accolades namely his black belt in Taekwondo, Judo, and a brown belt in BJJ. The Zombie will look to get back to the win column with style points as always when he enters the Octagon this weekend.

Dan Ige is another entertainer who enters the Octagon to get his hand raised while giving the fans a good show. His fight name 50K signifies the bonus amounts given by the UFC to the most entertaining fighters of the night. Dan Ige has now proved that he deserves to fight the top 5 featherweight guys after dominating the UFC’s young talents. Dan is primarily a striker with a kickboxing background and has a strong ground game supported by his black belt in Jiu-Jitsu.

Dan rose to the big stage when he proved his grit to the world by beating Edson Barboza. This earned him a main event spot with Calvin Kattar where he came up short after a close decision. Dan Ige has proven his skills on the world stage and this week will be no different for the Hawaiian.

This is the closest fight on the card and coin flip main events are always exciting to watch as they unfold. The winner this week is not guaranteed but a banger fight is almost guaranteed. These are two fighters who are famous for putting up an entertaining fight for the fans and a combination of them together calls for an explosion in the Octagon this week.

The Korean Zombie is an explosive fighter beholding the power to knock the lights out of his opponents and contrarily Dan is a volume-heavy and precise striker. Dan is a superior grappler, but Zombie has a deadlier submission game. This fight is going to be thrilling and exciting wherever the action unfolds. The Zombie has won all his fights by finishes in the UFC Octagon and he will look to put pressure on Dan to knock him out. Contrarily, Dan has a great chin and has never been finished in his 18-fight pro career.

Brian Ortega displayed the blueprint to beat the Zombie which is through measured pace and pressure. We believe Dan Ige has the grit to grind a decision through a smart game plan. We have a great promotion for our fight fans who smell a finish here, we will payout double winnings on both Zombie and Dan if they finish the fight, so get around this insane promotion now. https://promotions.stake.com/ufc-main-event-2x-winnings/
